RoundEd Learning is founded by a current doctoral student at TC. The idea of her product is to take a genre of games that teenagers find appealing and adapt it to create a fun and engaging learning experience for a subject that they find hard and boring.
Its audience is students in middle school, and the game is set to help them in Algebra and help them understand the transition from arithmetic to algebra. Meanwhile, the game is set in the virtual world, which creates an engaging learning environment for learning Math.
The idea of using method in learning science in math is awesome! Hope that I can do some testing on this game one day.
