The way that I get to know an unknown startup is to work for it. Then I have a feel for how big it actually is and how much money it earns, and then it's time to size up the industries it operates in and with whom it competes.
Madscience wants to open the STEM education market in mainland, China, just closed its pre-Series A round in 2018. In 2019, it opens 3 centers in Shanghai and Beijing, and has deep coorporation with more than 200 internaiontal schools and bilingual schools. It's said that it has served more than 12,000 kids as an after-school program.
My duty in Madscience is to join them as a part-time teacher, covering their 2B and 2C business. I will both join their centers for makerting, and teach 2 classes for pre-K students in an international school for a semester.
